Paul came into week 8 in last place with only 2 Pargon points (and one of those was from a 3-rule!). Well that didn't stop Paul. Not only did our very own Paul sweep his mad-dash week opponents, but he also picked up his second 3-rule of the season. This resulted in Paul going from last place to tied for first. It does not end there though. Not to be overlooked is this historical accomplishment of being the first Pargon player to accumulate 5 Pargon points in one week. A feat that will be remember in Pargon lore for years to come.
Well done sir!

This was a no brainer. Bravo Paul. The humble peasants are smiling on this day.
ReplyDeleteMy gracious Humbles. Thank you for the reconigition of the almost impossible feat that was accomplished in week 8. By no means was this easy. First off for some unknown reason I had been making my picks for the three rule using only my draft teams. When I had mentioned that to our Lord my heart sank in utter disappointment that through my fault of not using all the games. The Saints-Giants OT barn burner was only the beginning. Then our local market tuned into the Vikings-Chicago contest with another OT field goal that would end up giving me another point in this unprecedented rally that was gaining steam. While his was happening the ticker at the bottom of the screen showing the next OT field goal in the contest between San Diego-Baltimore. How is this happening? The last two games there was some breathing room, although never a given. To sum up all of this jibberish in three words: Grays Sports Almanac.
