Week 3 Results, 1st Tony Bruno Award

HEAR YE HEAR YE! The first Tony Bruno Edge Award for the season is about to be announced.

First, let's congratulate LPJJ for getting his first point of the season, joining a block of Pargoners at 2nd place in the early season. hsbrian earned his 2nd point of the year and sits on top of the standings.

Funny to note that Pargon Nation is 0-3 so far in Bye Weeks. LPJJ previously noted the struggles of Bye Week last year; we won 6 of 15 overall in 2015. It's not a good start, but lots of time remains.

Finally on to that Tony Bruno Edge Award. We'll give that to hsbrian for a lot of reasons. The wedding this weekend was exciting (or so I, the webmaster, was told...) and the position on top the standings is exciting. Furthermore, I hear there is a new project in the works for the website, a few new features to bring you all in more often.

Let us know any other topics or features you'd like to see added to this space.

TRUE PARGON ALERT

Fellow humble servants, LPJJ:

This week I have the honor of going up against LP himself in a true pargon pick.  To those of you that spend your days doing hard labor, make sure that your work is completed in time to sit on your lumpy sofas and watch with anticipation on your dented black and white tv's as this true pargon pick plays out in NFL stadiums across the country.  Will LPJJ get his first point of the year or will he be one point away from being able to use a three-rule?  Tune in...

Week 2 Results, Bring On Week 3

The results for Week 2 are posted over on the "Standings" page. And we are locked in a tight battle early in this season.

Congrats to hsjimmy for taking the early Zammuto lead. And thanks to everyone for getting picks in to me on time. I might need some help in the next few weeks as I depart the Pargon manure fields for the greener pastures of Ireland.

Week 2, Zammuto Shocker!!

Week 1 scores are posted, and Pargon World is ready for Week 2 matchups to start rolling in.

In a shocking upset, LPJJ's ongoing record of consecutive weeks leading Zammuto has come to a crashing halt. Both hsjimmy and hspaul are ahead of LPJJ, putting an end to the 17 straight weeks he was at the top of the charts. This is a powerful day for us here in the fields. The sun still shines upon our rusted shovels and tattered overalls.
