The Big Boys
LPJJ, fellow humble servants:
How does it happen that we find ourselves already well into the back nine of another fine Pargon season? Only six weeks left! We have ourselves quite a battle, as everyone is still in the hunt after hs brian and hs paul both hit on their three rules. This week has some great matchups, and I am especially interested to see the Jims square off. Implies (those are Pargon implications) are abound! Fast charging Paul looks to take out the former LP Pat, while Brian has only to battle himself and the elements on his bye week. We could see a new leader at the top after this week or we could see a three way tie at the top, with a fourth player, hs paul, only a game back. It's shaping up to be an epic finish...

Zammuto Correction
The next posting of the Pargon Standings will have a correction in the Zammuto points. I incorrectly gave LPJJ his highest point total from the Uncle Mike pool; he won it with "Jim J3", took 5th with "Jim J2."
"Jim J" the original represents the Pargon submission, so that total will be reflected on the Zammuto Points Table XII when I add the picks for Week 11.

Tony Bruno Edge - Week 8 Edition
Following a successful Mad Dash 1 sweep, the Tony Bruno Edge this time around goes to hsjimmy, who currently sits in first place in both the Pargon Standings and Zammuto Points Table.
Congrats to HSJimmy, who on this day gets his letters capitalized!

In recognition of the wise LPJJ
Your visionary ways have never been more obvious than in your drafting of the Minnesota Vikings with the 30th and final pick in our team draft. They remain the only unbeaten team in the league. They were one Lord Pargon pick away from being banned. Classic LPJJ sneaky move.

Week 3 Results, 1st Tony Bruno Award
HEAR YE HEAR YE! The first Tony Bruno Edge Award for the season is about to be announced.
First, let's congratulate LPJJ for getting his first point of the season, joining a block of Pargoners at 2nd place in the early season. hsbrian earned his 2nd point of the year and sits on top of the standings.
Funny to note that Pargon Nation is 0-3 so far in Bye Weeks. LPJJ previously noted the struggles of Bye Week last year; we won 6 of 15 overall in 2015. It's not a good start, but lots of time remains.
Finally on to that Tony Bruno Edge Award. We'll give that to hsbrian for a lot of reasons. The wedding this weekend was exciting (or so I, the webmaster, was told...) and the position on top the standings is exciting. Furthermore, I hear there is a new project in the works for the website, a few new features to bring you all in more often.
Let us know any other topics or features you'd like to see added to this space.

TRUE PARGON ALERT
Fellow humble servants, LPJJ:
This week I have the honor of going up against LP himself in a true pargon pick. To those of you that spend your days doing hard labor, make sure that your work is completed in time to sit on your lumpy sofas and watch with anticipation on your dented black and white tv's as this true pargon pick plays out in NFL stadiums across the country. Will LPJJ get his first point of the year or will he be one point away from being able to use a three-rule? Tune in...

Week 2 Results, Bring On Week 3
The results for Week 2 are posted over on the "Standings" page. And we are locked in a tight battle early in this season.
Congrats to hsjimmy for taking the early Zammuto lead. And thanks to everyone for getting picks in to me on time. I might need some help in the next few weeks as I depart the Pargon manure fields for the greener pastures of Ireland.

Week 2, Zammuto Shocker!!
Week 1 scores are posted, and Pargon World is ready for Week 2 matchups to start rolling in.
In a shocking upset, LPJJ's ongoing record of consecutive weeks leading Zammuto has come to a crashing halt. Both hsjimmy and hspaul are ahead of LPJJ, putting an end to the 17 straight weeks he was at the top of the charts. This is a powerful day for us here in the fields. The sun still shines upon our rusted shovels and tattered overalls.

A Worldwide Celebration
Let the world rejoice. Our leader-elect, who has bravely united the Pargon and Zammuto Championships, has celebrated a birthday (yesterday). The sun shines brighter as the Pargon scum look upon our new hero Jim Jodie in admiration and wonder!
